Basketball Game Preview: Oklahoma City S Storm vs. El Paso Tigers

The Oklahoma City S Storm and the El Paso Tigers will face off at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Oklahoma City S is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 59.4 points per game this season.

Oklahoma City S picked up another tournament win on Friday. They walked away with a 58-46 victory over Midland Christian. Given the Storm's advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 189th in Oklahoma, while the Mustangs are ranked 526th in Texas), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Oklahoma City S's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Matthew Mason, who went 5 of 9 on his way to 13 points and eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Isreal Fugett, who posted nine points.

Meanwhile, El Paso unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Friday. They came up short against Hillcrest, falling 65-41. The game marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

El Paso's defeat dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Oklahoma City S, their win bumped their record up to 8-14.
