After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Stewartville, Kenyon-Wanamingo was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Medford Tigers with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won five in a row.

While Kenyon-Wanamingo won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-22, 25-19.

Mali Quam paced Kenyon-Wanamingo's offense, picking up nine kills. Quam got some help from Maddyn Alexander and her 16 assists. Audrey Haugen controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Kenyon-Wanamingo's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Medford, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Kenyon-Wanamingo will take on rival Bethlehem Academy at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Medford is set to challenge their familiar foe New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
