Soccer Recap: Jefferson County Takes a Loss

Jefferson County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Science Hill Hilltoppers. Jefferson County were not able to make up for their defeat to Science Hill from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Jefferson County's loss dropped their record down to 2-5-1. As for Science Hill, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-1-2.

Jefferson County wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Morristown-Hamblen East on the 1st. As for Science Hill, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Morristown-Hamblen West on the 31st.
