Football Recap: Mountain View Buffalos vs. Big Horn Rams
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Mountain View walked away with it. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Big Horn Rams on Friday, sneaking past 41-38. The win was just business as usual for the Buffalos, who after 12 games remain undefeated this season.

Justus Platts had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 331 yards and three TDs while picking up 13.2 yards per carry, and also throwing for 158 yards and three touchdowns. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 101.4 rushing yards per game. Mountain View's leading receiver Ashton Colangelo was Platts' top target yet again, picking up 90 receiving yards and a pair of scores.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Mountain View was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 354 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 207 rushing yards in four consecutive games.
Mountain View didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Colangelo, Race Carr, and Levi Jones picked up one apiece.
Despite the loss, Big Horn still got an impressive performance from Cruz Hernandez, who picked up 148 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns, and also rushed for 118 yards and two TDs. The Rams also got help from Bridger Doke, who showed off his sure hands for 120 receiving yards.
Mountain View's record now sits at 12-0. As for Big Horn, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 10-1.
