Regents had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They blew past the Blue Ridge Barons 53-20. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 24 points or more this season.

Regents' win bumped their record up to 13-3. As for Blue Ridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 24-4.

Regents wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 53-20 victory against Blue Ridge Christian on the 10th. As for Blue Ridge, they will venture away from home to challenge Miller School of Albemarle at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Miller School of Albemarle knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six contests -- so hopefully Blue Ridge likes a good challenge.
