Volleyball Recap: Novi Falls Short Against Ranked Lakeland

Novi faced Lakeland in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Wildcats fell 2-0 to the Eagles. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2023.

Novi's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Lakeland, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Novi will square off against rival Hartland at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Lakeland is set to challenge their familiar foe Walled Lake Western at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
