Football Recap: Reynoldsburg Comes Up Short

Reynoldsburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 28-21 to the Teays Valley Vikings. If the Raiders were looking for revenge after losing 17-7 to the Vikings when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Reynoldsburg's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Teays Valley, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Reynoldsburg will head out to face off against Logan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Raiders will be up against the Chieftains' rather soft defense (which has allowed 45.4 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Teays Valley, they will challenge Groveport-Madison at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
