Baseball Game Preview: Coronado Cougars vs. Desert Oasis Diamondbacks

For the second straight game, Coronado will face off against Desert Oasis. Coronado will challenge Desert Oasis at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Last Tuesday, Coronado didn't have quite enough to beat Desert Oasis and fell 3-2. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

For Desert Oasis' part, their victory was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Colin Walsh, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI. That's the most hits Walsh has posted since back in February. Another was Lincoln Guillermo, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

Desert Oasis pushed their record up to 10-7 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Coronado, their loss dropped their record down to 5-11.
