Softball Recap: Salem Takes a Loss

Salem was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 14-11 to the Clayton Clippers. Even if the Rams couldn't come away with the victory, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.

Salem's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Clayton, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-9.

Salem has already played their next matchup, a 14-10 loss against Lower Cape May on the 24th. As for Clayton, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 26-9 victory against Camden Academy Charter on the 24th.
