Basketball Recap: North Jackson Comes Up Short

North Jackson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 61-59 heartbreaker at the hands of the Kate Duncan Smith DAR Patriots. While losing is never fun, the Chiefs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 339th, while the Patriots are ranked 120th).

North Jackson's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Kate Duncan Smith DAR, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-5.

When North Jackson and Kate Duncan Smith DAR next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. North Jackson will try to stop Fyffe's seven-game winning streak when the meet at 1:30 p.m. on December 27th. Similarly, Kate Duncan Smith DAR will challenge Skyline and their nine-game winning streak at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
