Volleyball Recap: Berry Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Berry was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the A.L. Brown Wonders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wonders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-11, 25-13.

A.L. Brown can attribute much of their success to Makenna Auberry, who had seven aces. Those seven aces gave Auberry a new career-high. Bernadette Fulton also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

Berry's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for A.L. Brown, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-7.

Coming up, Berry will venture away from home to square off against Hickory Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for A.L. Brown, they have already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Stuart W. Cramer on the 23rd.
