Football Game Preview: Lamoni Demons vs. Bedford Bulldogs

Lamoni is 0-6 against Bedford since September of 2016 but things could change on Friday. The Demons will venture away from home to challenge the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Lamoni turned things around against Sidney on Friday. They blew past the Cowboys 39-6.

Meanwhile, Bedford won against Murray last Friday with 72 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Bulldogs didn't even let East Union on the board, marking the Bulldogs' second-straight 72-0 shutout. The Bulldogs have beaten the Eagles the last six times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Eagles has come to flipping the script.

Bedford's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Lamoni, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Lamoni took a serious blow against Bedford in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, falling 77-0. Can the Demons avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
