Volleyball Recap: Brantley County Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Brantley County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Savannah Christian Raiders. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Herons of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-4, 25-10.

Savannah Christian found their leader in sophomore Carinne Cason, who had 11 assists and three aces. Kamila Salinas also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Brantley County's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 11-16. As for Savannah Christian, they pushed their record up to 15-4 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home.

Coincidentally, Brantley County and Savannah Christian will both be playing Savannah Country Day the next time they take the court. The Herons will head out to face the Hornets at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Raiders will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
