The matchup between Thomas Jefferson and Trinity on Tuesday hardly resembled the 1-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Jaguars came out on top against the Hillers by a score of 12-8. This was payback for the Jaguars, who suffered a 1-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Thomas Jefferson let Olivia Stock and Addi Bracco run wild. Stock went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs, while Bracco went 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Those two stolen bases gave Stock a new career-high. Madden Stanek also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

Thomas Jefferson's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-6. As for Trinity, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 3-4.

Coincidentally, Thomas Jefferson and Trinity will both be playing Peters Township the next time they take the field. The Hillers will head out to face the Indians at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Jaguars will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
