St. Charles East entered their tilt with Hinsdale South on Wednesday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They didn't even let the Hornets on the board, marking their second-straight 2-0 shutout. The Fighting Saints were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Hornets, so the Fighting Saints were just returning the favor.

While St. Charles East might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Hinsdale South scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-18.

St. Charles East's record is now 17-9. As for Hinsdale South, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-8.
