Recap: Quapaw Wildcats vs. Welch Wildcats
The Quapaw Wildcats's three-game losing streak came to an end on Monday. They had just enough and edged Welch out 44-41. This was payback for Quapaw, who suffered a 57-53 loss the last time these two teams met.
Welch lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being John Hardin, who scored seven points along with three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Hardin has scored all season. Mason Clinton was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Quapaw's victory bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Welch, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.
Quapaw is on the road again on Thursday and play against Fairland at 8:00 p.m. on December 14th. Fairland will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive. Welch will take on Oaks-Mission at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
