Baseball Recap: West Boca Raton Takes a Loss

West Boca Raton managed to slip by St. Thomas Aquinas the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Bulls lost 13-5 to the Raiders on Friday. That's two games in a row now that the Bulls have lost by exactly eight runs.

Casey Turner made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-4 with one home run and three RBI. Those RBI were his first of the season. Christian Fallacara-Saunders was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one home run.

West Boca Raton has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season. As for St. Thomas Aquinas, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-5-1 record this season.

West Boca Raton has already played their next game, a 4-1 win against Olympic Heights on the 7th. As for St. Thomas Aquinas, they will challenge Everglades at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
