Volleyball Recap: Joplin Takes a Loss

Joplin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Waynesville Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Joplin's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Waynesville, the win got them back to even at 3-3-2.

Coincidentally, Joplin and Waynesville will both be playing Hillcrest the next time they take the court. The Tigers will head out to face the Hornets at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, while the Eagles will play them later in the day, at 1:30 p.m.
