Baseball Recap: Randolph Takes a Loss

Randolph was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 7-2 to the Ripon Tigers.

Randolph's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Ripon, their victory ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-18.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Randolph will welcome Green Lake/Princeton at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Rockets' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Tigersharks have averaged an impressive 6.8 runs per game this season. As for Ripon, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Kettle Moraine Lutheran at 4:45 p.m. The Chargers will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight.
