Make it five blowout wins for the Weatherford Christian Lions this season. They breezed by Fellowship Academy on the road to the tune of 66-39. The victory was just what Weatherford Christian needed coming off of a 84-39 loss in their prior match.
Fellowship Academy's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Bryce Baker, who scored 13 points, and Garret Lawhorne who scored no points.
Weatherford Christian is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 6-10 record this season. As for Fellowship Academy, their defeat was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-21.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Weatherford Christian will take on Temple Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Fellowship Academy, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Trinity at 1:30 p.m. on January 27th. Trinity is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.
