Basketball Game Preview: Oak Ridge Trojans vs. Whitney Wildcats

The Oak Ridge Trojans will face off against the Whitney Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Whitney took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Oak Ridge, who comes in off a win.

Last Friday, Oak Ridge humbled Davis Sr. with an 86-48 victory. The Trojans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Whitney lost to Jesuit on the road by a 52-37 margin on Friday. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Marauders recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Oak Ridge's victory bumped their record up to 15-7. As for Whitney, their loss dropped their record down to 16-8.

Oak Ridge was able to grind out a solid win over Whitney in their previous meeting back in January, winning 71-61. The rematch might be a little tougher for Oak Ridge since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
