Basketball Recap: Hamburg Comes Up Short

Hamburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 28th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 38-18 to the Essex Trojans. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 41-21 two weeks ago.

Hamburg's loss dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Essex, their win ended an 11-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-15.

Hamburg has already played their next contest (against East Atchison [Tarkio/Fairfax]), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Essex didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 38-18 victory against Hamburg on the 22nd.
