Volleyball Recap: Norton Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Norton lost against Medfield back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Lancers came up short against the Warriors, falling 3-0. The Lancers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-12, 25-7.

Catherine Reiss paced Norton's offense, picking up three kills. Reiss got some help from Maddie Artz and her four assists. Reiss was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Lianna Kane went supernova For Medfield., getting eight digs and seven aces. The dominant performance also gave Kane a new career-high in assists (four).

Norton's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Medfield, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-2 record this season.

Norton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Millis on the 8th. As for Medfield, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Old Rochester Regional on the 9th.
