Basketball Recap: Evergreen Comes Up Short

Evergreen lost against Camas back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Evergreen Plainsmen were outmatched by the Camas Papermakers and fell 77-47. While losing is never fun, the Plainsmen can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 185th, while the Papermakers are ranked 35th).

Evergreen's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Camas, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-2.

Evergreen will venture away from home to face off against Heritage at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Camas, they will welcome Union at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Union will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Camas surely won't give up without a fight.
