Carlos Ortega has led Questa in runs on the season and he led the team again on Thursday. Ortega scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He also allowed a hit, which is notable because Questa is 2-1 when he allows at most three hits, but 0-4 otherwise.

Coming up, Ortega and Questa will stay at home for another game and welcome Mesa Vista at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. The Wildcats are a perfect 9-0 against the Trojans going back to April of 2015, a lead they'll look to extend.
