Softball Recap: Yosemite Comes Up Short

Yosemite lost against Sierra back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Badgers fell just short of the Chieftains by a score of 9-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Badgers have suffered since April 2, 2024.

Yosemite saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Morgan Ramsey, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with four doubles, three RBI, and two runs. Taylor Bullock was another, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one run and one RBI.

Yosemite's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Sierra, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 9-8 record.

While Yosemite had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
