Baseball Recap: Crook County Cowboys vs. Estacada Rangers
Crook County extended their losing streak to three on Thursday, dropping their season record down to 3-10 in the process. They came up short against the Estacada Rangers, falling 14-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rangers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-1 on Wednesday.
As for Estacada, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-7-1. The matchup marked their most dominant win of the season.
For Estacada's part, Connor Crawford was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed five innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. Crawford was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. Those three hits gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, Estacada got a massive performance out of Blake Barger, who went 3-for-5 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Those three hits gave Barger a new career-high.
