Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Viet Tran and Luca Lopriore Lead Lynn Classical to Victory

There's no place like home for Lynn Classical, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Woburn Memorial Tanners on Friday. This was a revenge game for the Rams: when they faced off against the Tanners back in April, they had to take a 3-2 defeat.

Lynn Classical was especially dominant in the second set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-15, 14-25, 25-21.

Lynn Classical was led to victory by Luca Lopriore and Viet Tran. Lopriore had nine digs and two aces, while Tran had 23 kills and four digs. Tran has been hot for a while, having posted five or more kills the last 38 times he's played.

They weren't the only good server: Lynn Classical was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in five consecutive matchups.

Lynn Classical now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Woburn Memorial, they dropped their record down to 7-7 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Lynn Classical wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Lynn English on the 12th. As for Woburn Memorial, they have also already played their next game, a 3-1 win against Arlington on the 12th.
