Football Recap: Lanai Starts Season with Loss at Home

Lanai unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Molokai Farmers by a score of 14-12 on Saturday. The Pine Lads have struggled against the Farmers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

The win was the third in a row for Molokai, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Coming up, Molokai will face off against Seabury at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Lanai will be paying especially close attention to the Farmers' contest: after the Farmers face off against Hana, they'll take on Lanai again at 10:00 a.m. on October 11.
