Leeds was the 35-28 winner over Pelham when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Greenwave fell 21-14 to the Panthers on Friday. Despite 92 more yards than the Panthers, the Greenwave couldn't convert that extra yardage to scores.

When it comes to explaining why Leeds lost, don't look at Taylon Gaiter. Despite the final result, he rushed for 82 yards on only nine carries, and also caught one touchdown.

Leading Pelham to victory were Tristen Rutledge and Marcus Arnold. Rutledge rushed for 100 yards and one TD on only 13 carries, while Arnold picked up 61 receiving yards and one score. The Panthers are 3-1 when Rutledge posts 100 or more rushing yards, but 1-4 otherwise.

Leeds has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-4 record this season. As for Pelham, they moved to 4-5 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.
