Cordova won the last time they faced Ninilchik and things went their way on Friday too. Cordova came out on top in a nail-biter against Ninilchik, sneaking past 1-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for Cordova.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Cordova got the one that really mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-7.

Isabelle Nothstine paced Cordova's offense, picking up three kills. Nothstine got some help from Willow Tiedeman and her three assists. Avery Reynolds controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Cordova's win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Coincidentally, Cordova and Ninilchik will both be playing Cook Inlet Academy the next time they take the court. Cordova will head out to face Cook Inlet Academy at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, while Ninilchik will play them later in the day, at 2:30 p.m.
