Softball Game Preview: Jefferson Bears vs. Flat Rock Rams

Jefferson is 1-9 against Flat Rock since April of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Bears will host the Rams at 4:30 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Jefferson fell victim to Huron and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Chiefs, falling 7-0. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Bears were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, Flat Rock also failed to score in their most recent game. They fell 4-0 to St. Mary Catholic Central on Wednesday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Flat Rock's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Jefferson, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-4.
