It may have taken double overtime to finish the job, but Lincoln County ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 64-62 victory over the Pulaski County Maroons. The win was nothing new for the Patriots as they're now sitting on three straight.

Lincoln County's victory bumped their record up to 16-9. As for Pulaski County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lincoln County will challenge Danville Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Danville Christian Academy will roll in looking for their 15th straight win, something Lincoln County surely won't give up without a fight. As for Pulaski County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Southwestern at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
