Soccer Recap: Lawrence Free State's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Lawrence Free State barely beat Shawnee Mission North the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Firebirds put the hurt on the Bison with a sharp 8-0 victory on Tuesday. It was an even better day for Taylor Woods as she scored three goals for her team.

The win (which was Lawrence Free State's third in a row) raised their record to 3-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 12 goals over those three matchups. As for Shawnee Mission North, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2-1.
