There's no place like home for Howland, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Salem Quakers on Monday as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Tigers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Quakers, too.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-21, 25-17.

Maya Kubancsek paced Howland's offense, picking up 18 kills. Kubancsek got some help from Talia Rishel and her 29 assists. Kubancsek was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Howland is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. As for Salem, they dropped their record down to 4-8 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
