Baseball Recap: La Salle College Makes It Nine in a Row on the Road

La Salle College won the last time they faced Haverford School and things went their way on Saturday too. The Explorers blew past the Fords 12-2. Fans of the Explorers have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+ runs.

Declan Cawley looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out seven over four innings pitched. Those seven strikeouts gave him a new career-high.

On the hitting side, Aimon Chandler was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and two doubles. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Matt Wambold, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.

La Salle College was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .389. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .368 or higher every time they've taken the field this season.
