It was a good run, but Omaha R unfortunately witnessed the end of their eight-match winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Elevate Academy Eagles by a score of 2-1.

Tatyanah Linnen paced Omaha R's offense, picking up 12 kills. Linnen got some help from Makenna Humann and her 21 assists. Hope Weiss controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Omaha R's loss dropped their record down to 51-8-4. As for Elevate Academy, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Omaha R didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Wichita HomeSchool on the 1st. Elevate Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
