Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Teague). They put the hurt on the Trinity Tigers with a sharp 20-5 victory on Friday. The Lions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by six runs or more this season.

Trip Egbert made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Egbert was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances.

In other batting news, Mario Cuevas was incredible, scoring five runs and stealing a base while going 4-for-4. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 2.2 runs per game. Another player making a difference was Cameron Fortson, who went 1-for-3 with five RBI and one run.
