Basketball Recap: Douglas County Has No Trouble Against Fountain-Fort Carson

Douglas County picked up another tournament win on Friday. They skirted past the Fountain-Fort Carson Trojans 52-49. That looming 52-49 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Huskies yet this season.

Vaughn Baldwin was his usual excellent self, almost dropping a double-double on 12 points and nine rebounds. Gavin Dale was another key player, going 5 of 10 on his way to 15 points.

When it comes to explaining why Fountain-Fort Carson lost, don't look at Alex Rivera. Despite the final result, he went 5 for 12 on his way to 10 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Termaine Shaw, who posted eight points and nine rebounds.
