Softball Recap: East Marion Comes Up Short

East Marion was the 13-12 winner over Lumberton when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The East Marion Eagles fell 16-12 to the Lumberton Panthers on Thursday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (ten), the Eagles still had to take the loss.

East Marion's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Lumberton, the victory got them back to even at 2-2-1.

East Marion didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 20-10 win against Our Lady Academy on the 7th. As for Lumberton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 16-2 defeat against Sacred Heart on the 7th.
