Recap: Kansas City Christian School Panthers vs. Pleasanton Blu-Jays
The Kansas City Christian School Panthers were the 60-31 winner over the Pleasanton Blu-Jays when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Kansas City Christian School took a serious blow against Pleasanton on Friday, falling 78-44.
Leading Pleasanton to victory were Mario Davis and Tony Gillespie. Davis scored 29 points along with 8 assists and 8 rebounds, while Gillespie scored 36 points along with 5 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Kam Staton, who scored 7 points along with 5 rebounds and 4 steals.
Kansas City Christian School's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Pleasanton, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kansas City Christian School will take on Lebo at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Pleasanton, they will be playing at home against Jayhawk Linn at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
