Basketball Game Preview: Eastern York Golden Knights vs. West York Area Bulldogs

The Eastern York Golden Knights will challenge the West York Area Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Eastern York comes in on eight and West York Area on nine.

On Wednesday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Eastern York beat York Suburban 52-46.

Meanwhile, West York Area blew past New Oxford, posting a 59-31 victory. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 23 points or more this season.

West York Area is also on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.9 points per game. As for Eastern York, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-3.

Eastern York came up short against West York Area when the teams last played on January 13th, falling 45-41. Can Eastern York avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
