St. Raphael Academy and Prout are an even 3-3 against one another since May of 2017, but likely not for long. The Saints will be playing in front of their home fans against the Crusaders at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with St. Raphael Academy sitting on four straight victories and Prout on three.

St. Raphael Academy is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Rhode Island's top teams: Ponaganset, who was ranked 25th at the time (St. Raphael Academy was ranked 24th). The Saints sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-6 win over the Chieftains on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Saints have posted since May 24, 2024.

Meanwhile, Prout earned a 6-3 win over Rogers on Monday.

Cam Randall was excellent, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. That double was his first of the season.

St. Raphael Academy now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Prout, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4.

St. Raphael Academy skirted past Prout 3-2 when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Do the Saints have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Crusaders turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
