Soccer Recap: Argenta-Oreana Takes a Loss

Argenta-Oreana was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the Olympia Spartans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Argenta-Oreana of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

They hit Olympia with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Judah Austin, Zion Mpundu, and Micah Alworth.

Argenta-Oreana's defeat dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Olympia, their victory ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 2-18-1.

Argenta-Oreana wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Monticello on the 18th. As for Olympia, they have also already played their next matchup, a 6-2 defeat against Princeton on the 18th.
