Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. Paul). They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Yates Center Wildcats on Friday, sneaking past 56-54. The win continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won five in a row.

St. Paul's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-9 and their overall record up to 2-14. As for Yates Center, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season.

Looking ahead, St. Paul will head out to challenge Chetopa on Tuesday. As for Yates Center, they will welcome Crest on February 21st.
