Soccer Recap: Appleton West Gets the Win

The Appleton West Terrors sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the West De Pere Phantoms on Saturday.

Appleton West's victory bumped their record up to 2-9-2. As for West De Pere, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-5.

Appleton West and West De Pere could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Wisconsin Rankings. The Terrors will face off against Appleton East at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank disadvantage (175 vs. 46). Meanwhile, West De Pere (ranked 83rd) will meet De Pere (ranked 18th) at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
