Basketball Recap: Queen City Comes Up Short

After flying high against De Kalb last Tuesday, Queen City came back down to earth. The Queen City Bulldogs came up short against the Hooks Hornets on Tuesday, falling 56-33. The Bulldogs lost against the Hornets in their previous head to head back in January of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 95-30 score last time.

Queen City's defeat dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Hooks, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-11.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Liberty-Eylau the next time they take the court. Queen City will host Liberty-Eylau at 7:45 p.m. on Friday, while Hooks will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
