North Bullitt is a perfect 4-0 against Nelson County since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Eagles will face off against the Cardinals at 5:30 p.m. North Bullitt is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.9 runs per game this season.

North Bullitt proved they can win big on Friday (they won by 19) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They never let Shelby County get on the board and left with a 1-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Rockets: they've now won four in a row.

Meanwhile, Nelson County had just enough and edged out Hart County 6-5 on Monday.

J Mcclain looked comfortable as he pitched 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. What's more, he posted three strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March.

On the hitting side, Nelson County let Kaden Simpson and J Mcknight run wild. Simpson got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one home run, while Mcknight got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of D Minter, who went 2-for-4 with two doubles and one run.

North Bullitt's record is now 26-8. As for Nelson County, their record now sits at 18-10.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. North Bullitt has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.7 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Nelson County struggles in that department as they've been averaging 3.3 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.

North Bullitt took their win against Nelson County in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 8-2 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
