Basketball Recap: Etna Wins Going Away Against Burney

You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out for Etna on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 55-36 victory over the Burney Raiders. The Lions have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Raiders, too.

Despite the loss, Burney saw an underclassman step up: sophomore James Fields dropped a double-double on 15 points and 12 boards. That was a full 41.7% of Burney's points, marking the third time in a row he's posted more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cort Covert, who earned eight points.
