Football Game Preview: Lander Valley Tigers vs. Buffalo Bison + How To Watch

The Lander Valley Tigers are taking a road trip to take on the Buffalo Bison at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Lander Valley's defense has only allowed 11.4 points per game this season, so Buffalo's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Lander Valley will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up 13 points last Friday, then bounced right back against Rawlins on Thursday. The Tigers really took it to the Outlaws for the full four quarters, racking up a 49-0 victory. That 49 point margin sets a new team best for the Tigers this season.

Sawyer Nachazel was nothing short of spectacular: he rushed for 156 yards and one score on only 11 carries.

Meanwhile, Buffalo faced Douglas in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Bison took a blow against the Bearcats, falling 41-3. Having soared to a lofty 46 points in the game before, the Bison couldn't push the score so high this time.

Lander Valley's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-1. The road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 47.0 points over those games. As for Buffalo, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.

Lander Valley beat Buffalo 42-35 when the teams last played back in October of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
